SALARY: £61,641 - £68,490

HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in the Edinburgh office

We are looking for a Product Control Manager to join us to interpret sophisticated processes and manage the efficient and effective production of high quality output and analysis. This role sits within the Trading Book Product Control team, within Finance Valuation Control - Product Control.
This is a unique opportunity to join a team who demonstrate a desire to foster all of their colleague development goals, via learning opportunities, knowledge sharing and cross training.
Day to day you'll be;
- Reviewing and Preparing daily P&L production, reconciliations, signoffs, issue resolution.
- Supporting the month end close processes associated with accurately reporting and independently validating the bank's balance sheet in a timely manner.
- Reviewing the analysis and in-depth commentary on P&L and balance sheet movements.
- Supporting a robust control framework for all processes within remit.
- Undertaking ad hoc work and investigation arising from partner requests.
- Supporting delivery of efficiencies and a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll need
- Experience of Product Control, or relevant Financial services experience
- Line management experience
- Knowledge of Financial Instruments
- Relationship building and Stakeholder management
- Numerate and competent with MS Office applications especially Excel
- Interest in Process Improvement
And any experience of these would be really useful
- Experience of SQL and Macros
