Role Description

Working as an R&D Corporate Tax Director for Kreston Reeves, you will report directly to our Head of Corporate Tax. You must have experience in and have detailed knowledge of all aspects of the UK tax regime for Research & Development relief. You will also have a sound grasp of other business tax matters to not only help ensure clients are fully tax compliant but to also identify tax planning opportunities.

Our corporate clients include a broad range of sectors and industries and include OMBs, entrepreneurial companies, larger corporates, multi-national groups, FSA regulated companies and AIM listed PLCs.

The role is largely office based but may include instances of visiting client’s premises. There may also be some travel between our offices based in London, West Sussex and Kent.

Role Requirements

Advising on the application of the UK’s regime for Research & Development tax relief

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experienced (5 years+) in working with the UK regime for R&D Tax Relief CIOT qualified with 3+ years post qualification.
  • Experienced in advising a broad range of clients including owner managed businesses, private equity backed businesses, large corporates and multinationals from a range of industry sectors..
  • Excellent at establishing and maintaining client relationships.
  • A team player.
  • A confident networker.
  • Capable of coaching and developing a team.
  • Confident at building a business and securing client fees.
