We are currently recruiting for Audit Assistant Manager to join our busy Kreston Reeves offices in Sussex. The audit team across Kreston Reeves is growing through organic growth and we are seeking individuals to join us at this exciting time. We have brought on a number of new clients over the last few months both locally and through our international network in a number of different sectors.

We are looking for people that have the drive and ambition to lead on audits, grow our client base further and maintain our existing client relationships.

As an Auditor you will report to managers, taking responsibility for completing tasks accurately, to deadline and liaising with clients. You will act as Supervisor on audit assignments, taking responsibility for the overall audit direction and supervision of junior staff, as well as preparing audit planning documentation for review by managers.

Role Description

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will report to managers and partners and take full responsibility for a variety of audit clients from large corporate groups to not-for-profit entities.  This role will require you to use initiative and judgment, although supervision and advice will be available at all times to ensure that our clients are provided with the best possible service.

This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic auditor looking for regular client contact, whose aim is to further their career while contributing to the provision of excellent service to a diverse range of clients.

The objectives of the role

To be responsible for completing all client assignments accurately, to deadline, and to liaise with the client to provide excellent client service.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Complete audit planning alongside the partner and manager
  • Coach and develop the team to maximise their contribution to the audit
  • Supervise a team of assistants completing the on-site audit work
  • Focus on the complicated audit areas and hold meetings with clients to discuss these complex areas and any audit issues
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients
  • Demonstrate initiative and judgement providing solutions to problems

Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA qualified
  • A working knowledge of CaseWare would be beneficial
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in accounting software
  • Excellent client facing and team work skills
