About the role

We are looking for an additional colleague to complement the team as the business unit are in an expanding phase with new clients and exciting opportunities. As a Financial Account Manager in Fund Services, you will together with your team both set the frames and create the content of how we deliver our fund expertise to the client.

You will be dedicated to one of our biggest clients, where your main focus will be the accounting and financial reporting around the alternative investment funds. Your day-to-day work will be varying and there is not really a “typical day”, but to give you a somehow idea of what your responsibilities can be, here is some examples:

  • Responsible for daily processing of transactions for investment funds portfolio, including reconciliation on cash position and preparation of monthly or quarterly Net Asset Value (NAV) for a portfolio of medium to high complexity investment funds
  • Responsible for daily maintenance of the full books of accounts for the funds including reconciliations, cash management, fee calculations and ad hoc request from our clients
  • Address all requests and queries from fund managers, investors, auditors and other contractual parties or regulatory bodies for the funds
  • Prepare financial information and schedules for audit purposes; review draft audit accounts and resolve audit issues; dispatch of interim and annual financial statements and other notices to fund managers or investors

Your background

To succeed in this role, we think that you have been working broadly within accounting, controlling or audit and see yourself in a role where you will be supporting your more junior colleagues in their everyday work. A coaching mindset and the aim to always succeed together is therefore important here. Further, we see that you are not afraid to step outside your comfort zone and try new things, you are driven, and you make things happen. If you have the capability to easily get an overview of what needs to be done, we think that you will really thrive here. What we also see that you have:

  • Academic background within finance, audit or business administration
  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience from Denmark
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. Knowledge in Danish is an advantage
  • Experience from controlling, being in an international company or as a consultant is an advantage
  • Experience from Visma Business, Investran, CaseWare and good knowledge in Excel is an advantage
