Business Development:
- Lead business development (BD) effort for the team in the areas of Technology, Accounting and Payroll outsourcing, Staff deputation, Tax compliance
- Reach out to various Partner groups to canvass the BPS capabilities and solutions offered.
- Lead full life cycle of BD from generating leads, preparing proposals, assemble team, engagement letter and ongoing revenue management.
- Self-driven to analyse latest win and proposal in other areas of Deloitte using the salesforce system to check for BPS opportunities.
- Brings in competition insights in our domain of work.
Accounting and Tax:
- Oversees planning and development of finance and accounting solutions to ensure alignment with client's needs.
- Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of monthly MIS reports and sending the same to the clients on time.
- Automation of reports to minimize manual work.
- Ensuring all checklists, trackers and dashboards are implemented and are effective.
- Responsible for the timely completion of the audits of client accounts
- Responsible for adhering to Engagement formalities on timely basis.
- Commits to professional competence by discussing with the engagement team and the client's management team, technical and operational approaches to the finance and accounting solutions.
- Has demonstrable understanding of the accounting standards IND AS/IFRS, relevant laws and regulations (including specific local laws and regulations)
- Effectively applies local and international accounting rules and principles to solve complex finance and accounting issues.
- Holds a vast knowledge of all functionalities of SAP/Oracle and ensures application thereof.
- Identifies the need for customization of software according to client's business specifications.
Technology:
- Stays current on emerging technologies and applications and helps clients clarify priorities.
- Develops technology strategies and supporting processes to drive business value.
- Ensures client needs are incorporated into the end solution and risks/issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Anticipates risks and implications of various technology decisions and advises clients accordingly Successfully conducts multiple technology implementations over the years.
- Ensures that the resources assigned to the project are appropriate and sufficient.
- Communicates and assists in change management
Technical:
- Understands local/country-specific laws and regulations to determine their implications on clients.
- Stays abreast of proposed legislation and evaluates proposed legislation.
- Develops a network of internal and external contacts within the organization to facilitate sharing/retrieving of information; encourages others to make organizational knowledge more productive.
- Develops relationships with others who have knowledge in areas outside of main area(s) of expertise to bring the full breadth of Deloitte services to the client.
- Analyzes and reviews data and uses team’s analysis to spot inconsistencies, discrepancies, and omissions in data.
- Drafts complex, well-structured communications in accordance with standard policies and procedures.
- Effectively organizes and presents complex issues, results, and recommendations to project team and clients.
- Uses a wide array of technology solutions and recommends the best tools and features to decrease time spent locating and capturing information (e.g. use of standard work papers for efficient data entry).
