Job Description
Your field of responsibility

In this position you manage a team of 2 FTE based in Zurich focused on business management, control and oversight across Credit Suisse Asset Management Global Real Estate. The role reports into the head of business management for Global Real Estate. The team provides first line of defense control activities across the global real estate business. The team operates very close with the various business functional teams (Asset Management, Product Management, Acquisition and Sales and Finance) as well as with internal control functions (Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit) and external stakeholders (Auditors, external consultants etc). The BC&O team maintains many contacts within the bank (shared services) and the function plays an important role in how GRE as a whole and, more specifically, the GRE COO-function are perceived within CSAM / the bank. Therefore, service oriented approach, readiness to troubleshoot and being a great support function to COO (sparring partner) are very important. BC&O acts as the GRE's internal line of defense; in case any deficiencies, mistakes or risks are identified, these are immediately pointed out, dealt with and escalated (when necessary). Simultaneously, possible future measures are also considered and defined (e.g. through process improvements, Working Note adjustments etc.).
