Your field of responsibility

Join us as Financial Accountant and your responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly financial statements for several Credit Suisse Trust Guernsey group entities followed by monthly financial reporting to Credit Suisse Group.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the company’s financial performance and reporting on matters of company’s liquidity and debtor’s management.

Another core task is liaising regularly with all stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of information and process execution.

You will also act as a back-up for FA Head on all accounting matters.

Your skills and experience

Prior experience in a similar role is desirable.

  • Strong financial background with proven experience in Financial Accounting or any other Finance role, preferably more than 5 years, along with relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • You understand the importance, and have demonstrated awareness, of compliance and risk control
  • Sound working knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP & IFRS.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications is a must and prior experience of working on accounting applications will be preferred.
  • Ability to work accurately, reliably and meet deadlines on a regular basis.
  • Ability to foster teamwork by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with peers, management and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and implementing new knowledge into practice.
