Your field of responsibility

The role provides oversight, support and guidance to the Division(s) in understanding, managing and complying with their SOX requirements. This role will lead the program for EMEA, covering departments within CTOO and Asset Management. This includes supporting the Division(s) with technical system guidance and overall SOX framework/approach guidance to ensure their compliance with overall SOX program requirements.

You will also be performing Quality Assurance Reviews of the ITGC testing performed by the Controls Assurance testing team. The QAR program was established last year in order to have an independent team review the quality of the IT General Controls (ITGC) testing performed for compliance with the ITGC SOX framework.

As the Divisional Lead, you will be responsible for:

Driving the validation of regional scoping & mapping of the ITGC controls, including applications; monitoring and assessing control matters for SOX relevance (e.g. SAB99, incidents and internal audit reports, RCSA) in collaboration with other team members.

Overseeing timely DET & OET completion; support line in SOX issue documentation and regular updates, tracking and reporting of regional issues; oversee timely end of year sign-offs of processes and controls; this will be performed in collaboration with the Controls Assurance team who are responsible for the execution of the SOX testing.

Supporting SOX management reporting to the Division(s) through established periodic meetings with the IT Operational Risk Management (ORM) and support the quality reviews of the final End of Year (EoY) signoff presentations, including preparation for Divisional CIO signoff.

Proven experience in Banking/Financial services industry, and in auditing IT General controls, both application and general computer controls for various platforms Extensive experience of planning and execution of design (DET) and operational effectiveness testing (OET) for ITGCs, SOX experience preferred Outstanding analytical and communication skills, proficient in Microsoft applications Keen attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential in order to establish an effective Quality Assurance Review Excellent team player/ team leading, and problem solving skills Time management – organizing, prioritizing and managing work independently Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives Your new employer
