Job Description 

Your field of responsibility

The role forms an integral part of the Procurement COO team. The role is key in working with senior management and internal partners of the business on topics ranging from further cost control, performance management, planning and budgets, procurement savings, reporting/analysis and controls, key business initiatives and MIS requirements. Required to work with other members of the Procurement team of the Group Finance team on all finance and controlling topics.

Your skills and experience 

You enjoy intellectually fulfilling work in a fast-paced team environment, building long-term impact by facilitating important strategic decisions as well as implementation-related work. The successful candidate is required have strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage stakeholders, communicate with confidence and an ability to negotiate and influence in a dynamic environment.

Key Skills Required

  • Relevant prior experience (7 years plus) in Finance/Accounting / COO functions or similar capacity in a global banking environment. Experience of Procurement would be beneficial.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to interpret and communicate management information.
  • Experience in finance/controlling environment with proven abilities in planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Strong communication skills, able to operate with senior executives. Expert communication and relationship management skills including the ability to partner with and influence stakeholders and colleagues at all levels across Credit Suisse.
  • Solid project management and organizational skills, including experience of business modelling and financial analysis
  • Prior experience working collaboratively with internal control functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
