What is the opportunity?
We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced audit professional to join the GIA Customer & Conduct Team. Our Team is passionate about putting our values into action and working in an agile way! You will work closely with stakeholders across Retail and Corporate Banking & Markets divisions.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in the planning, execution and reporting of audits to provide risk based assurance on the effectiveness of risk management and the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group's system of internal controls, ensuring effective sharing of lessons learned and standard methodology.
- Support the design, development and execution of the Group Internal Audit assurance strategy for accountable Key/Sub Risks (Conduct Risk).
- Foster effective relationships with senior management and other relevant key stakeholders.
- Work with colleagues to champion and implement strategies to fulfil the Purpose and Vision for the Function.

A great communicator with the ability to influence and constructively challenge while maintaining relationships.
Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;
- Managing results, reviewing work and leading all aspects of problem resolution and quality control.
- Prior risk management, risk assurance or audit experience.
- Experience with or technically qualified within Conduct Risk.

The GIA Customer and Conduct team provide third line of defence assurance within the Retail Ireland and Corporate Banking & Markets divisions. We work with agility at all times, focussing on continuous improvement and delivering the highest 'insight' value, being flexible with approaches and strategies as needed.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
