Job TitleManager, Finance Business PartnerIn this position, the incumbent will work in partnership with the International Infrastructure SVPs and at times, EVPs, to optimize the Vocalink P&L through commercial management of the cost base and programme investments. Key Roles and Responsibilities:• Responsible for end-to-end P&L management for International Infrastructure and O&T (including revenue and costs)• Manage and develop a newly qualified Senior Analyst and Industrial Placement• Accountable for Month End close for the Infrastructure and O&T divisions, with the support of the Senior Analyst and Industrial Placement. You will be required to review and sign off monthly position in line with business and corporate targets. You will work closely with remote finance teams in the US, the business and review with your Director in advance of WD2 calls.• Accountable for Forecasts four times a year (quarterly cycles) and an annual budget for the Infrastructure and O&T divisions. This will form a large part of the role. Accuracy, attention to detail and end-to-end ownership will be key. Candidate must be able manage their team and ensure all reconciliations of variance movements, with the support of numerical tables showing these movements and detailed commentary with relevant backing, are all fully provided when reviewing the final position with the Director.• Ensure appropriate engagement with the business on the forecasting/budgeting process to ensure 'buy in,' whilst managing corporate expectations, takes place well in advance of deadlines to corporate• Candidate must present and align draft position, obtaining appropriate sign off from SVPs of Infrastructure and O&T before submitting forecast to Corporate• All management of workload, including any timetables, key dates (especially for forecasting, budgeting and month end) and delegation to wider team, will be fully managed by the candidate • Present back monthly/quarterly/annual financial 'stories' in the form of presentations to the business on associated insights, ranging from current performance to future forecasts• Represent at key board meetings with 20+ attendees at SVP level, without the support of their Director • Work with Senior Analyst and IP to ensure all reporting is up to date, efficient and in line with governance and processes• Consistently strive for continuous improvement to drive efficiency• Interact on a regular basis with the Global NPP and O&T business (SVP and at times, EVP level)• Identify & drive initiatives to improve the Vocalink P&L across respective teams • Responsible for engaging with Procurement on financial sign off all Statement of Works, with appropriate backing/analysis to show spend is in line with current forecasts, can be absorbed etc. • Ensure financial governance is maintained across the business such as MC Capitalisation policies etc.• Prepare and submit papers to MC CAPEX Committees • Responsible for annual audit requests, including preparation of Impairment models• Have in depth understanding of Capitalisation, Depreciation and Amortization processes and ensure all relevant MasterCard rules are applied• Ensure compliance with risk policies and fosters a strong control environment to mitigate risks, liaising where necessary with the key business areas across Mastercard e.g. Controllers, Tax.• Understand Product Revenues and assist in Month end close and Forecasting• Adhoc and at times, urgent requests from business and CFO of NPPQualifications/Experience:• Qualified accountant ACCA or CIMA (preferrable), plus minimum of 6 years' PQ experience in a Senior Manager role, with experience in leading forecasting and budgeting• Knowledge of and experience of Hyperion and Oracle is desirable• Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional capacity. Able to work across a wide range of stakeholders, with strong influencing skills• Candidate should be able to demonstrate a level of business acumen and show the ability to spot anomalies at a high level• Strong Presentation and Analytical skills• Strong Communication skills from written, verbal and presentation perspectivesDue to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
