VAT Compliance Manager

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading multinational telecommunications company to recruit a VAT Compliance Manager. The business have adopted a hybrid working model and this role will involve a mixture of working from home and from their Bradford office.Reporting into the Senior Manager and working as part of a team of four VAT specialists, the VAT Compliance Manager will be responsible for VAT accounting, including VAT return to GL reconciliations, journal preparation and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.In order to be successful you will be qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA/CTA and have strong Excel and financial systems skills. Prior experience in a VAT compliance role, particularly involvement with cross border activity, would be advantageous. It is essential that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to build good relationships with internal stakeholders.
