Michael Page are recruiting a finance manager for a not for profit organisation based in Manchester on a perm basis.

Client Details

The client is a well established Not for Profit organisation with an office based in Manchester, the role will be reporting into the Finance Director. Description

As a Finance Manager duties will include but are not limited to;

• Leading and developing the finance team.
• Taking charge of the outstanding the Finance and Business Management services.
• Overseeing the smooth running of all the accounting functions, bookkeeping, banking, payments, receipts, and cash flow management.
• Managing the day-to-day operation of the finance and associated systems.
• Producing monthly management accounts for the organisation and board management reporting in accordance with the timetable.
• Preparing the year end finance statements and to take the lead on the year end audit.
• Producing the annual budgets and quarterly re- forecasts.
• Managing and controlling the processing of all payments and related issues.

Profile

The successful candidate will;

• Be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Manage a team and oversee finances
• Producing financial information for management purposes on a monthly basis, and year end processes.
• Cash flow forecasting and treasury management
• Annual budgeting and planning
• Developing and maintaining financial procedures
• Leading the annual audit process and liaison with external auditors
