This position has service delivery accountability of global Accounts Payable (AP) function covering the geographical locations APAC, NZ, AU, US, Canada and Regions. Accountable to deliver AP services effectively and efficiently, lead process improvements to enhance customer experience, quality & control, and ensure AP processes comply to corporate policy and statutory requirements.

Our client is a Global Manufacturing company that originated from Europe. With its operations around the world, the company makes billions of US dollars annually, and they are looking for an Procure To Pay Manager (P2P) to assist their operation here in their Gloabl Shared Services based in Johor.

Description

  • Responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of Procure to Pay (P2P) scopes in accordance to the defined SLAs/KPIs.
  • Full accountability for the P2P closing process
  • Optimizing and enhancing P2P processes while driving processes standardization in collaboration with other teams
  • Sharing best practices and provide support and guidance on major business changes and process transformation
  • Ensure P2P processes are in compliance with company policy, the accounting standards and local statutory requirements through
  • Manages services to business units against agreed service level and operating controls, which ensure compliance with all governance requirements and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Lead the designed, executed, documented, and reviewed of current processes as per the Global SSC model. Owner of service performance scorecard according to SLAs and KPIs established.
  • Manage direct reports ( 20 headcounts ) , monitoring progress, providing feedback on performance, identifying and addressing capability issues, participating in the target setting and development planning process.
  • Provide technical expertise in the required process area, effectively resolving escalations and more complex queries
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team's/process area's activities and to implement the necessary changes
  • Manage and build relationship with key stakeholders in Business Unit finance.
  • Interact with purchaser and MDM to address the issues pertaining to the vendor creation and modification process.
  • Participation in the project management covering tax computation, master data creation, capitalisation date, control costs on WBS and following project costs.
  • To assume the role of Procure to Pay (P2P), Fixed Assets Accounting and Company and Tax Accounting (CTA) activities according to the business role defined in the Financial Target Operating Model (FTOM)

Profile

The ideal PTP Manager will possess strong interpersonal skills and must have the following criteria:

  • Possess minimum Diploma or Degree from a recognized university in Accounting/Finance/ACCA or equivalent
  • Technically strong in Procure to Pay (P2P) and capable to manage the end-to-end process independently.
  • Experience in system migration/transformation projects
  • Possess strong communication and good interpersonal skills
  • At least 3-5 years supervisory or team management experience
  • Working experience with EPR system - SAP system is an advantage
  • Have at least 3- 5+ years of direct SSC experience in Accounts Payable
