Financial Controller

Financial Planning

Develop, implement and maintain financial plans and policies for the Company.

Maintain relations with investment communities and advise the Management on financial affairs and assist in long-term planning.

Assess and communicate information regarding business risks and support financial planning.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare budgets, forecasts and business plans for the Company.

Monitor & review performance against budgets and forecasts.

Establish fiscal controls and providing internal and external financial reports.

Financial Management & Controls

Manage cash flow and working capital components with attention to trade receivables and cash balances.

Manage overheads and seek cost savings initiatives.

Develop, recommend and implement cost-effective programs.

Be the key contact and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors and bankers.

Launch key projects to drive the business and process improvements.

Taxation

Support the Management in the development of efficient tax planning & strategy.

Ensure returns for corporation tax, SST and other relevant taxes are submitted and paid on time in full compliance.

Accounts Team

Coach, support and mentor the Accounts Team.

Manage, motivate and develop the team members.

Supervise & review performance of individuals.

Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, education and communication.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of accounting systems and accounting principles.

Eye for detail and accuracy.

Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Manage time effectively, with the ability to handle several concurrent projects.

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Manager specialized in Finance - Corporate Finance/Investment/Merchant Banking or equivalent.
