As a Tax Analyst

What will your role be in the team
•    Grow as a Tax Professional by completing various analytical processes for ExxonMobil’s diverse tax portfolio (examples: VAT, Excise, Corporate income taxes)
•    Build an in-depth understanding of taxation rules for Europe and other supported countries in the Africa, Middle East regions
•    Prepare and manage complex tax reporting from gathering, structuring data to submission towards the various in-country tax offices
•    Be responsible for the proper reporting and execution of large value payments towards Tax authorities across Europe, Africa and the Middle East
•    Use your analytical skills to unravel outstanding items in your area, working with various departments and affiliates
•    Support Tax Audits conducted by local government agencies with investigation, analysis and communication to the Tax Authorities, collaborating with our European affiliates
•    Build knowledge of our Upstream, Downstream and Chemicals businesses, supply chain processes, systems and tools
•    Join our Digital Innovation Program to upscale your capabilities in the digital and innovation space and drive innovation by exciting process, technical transformation and improvement initiatives
•    Participate in various site wide initiatives, including charity efforts, inclusion & diversity events or networks to develop and grow yourself in multiple areas

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

•    Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
•    Minimum of Bachelor / Master degree in Business Economics / Accounting / Taxation or equivalent
•    Strong analytical skills with a passion for innovation
•    Great attention to accuracy and detail, ability to meet deadlines
•    Interest in ongoing learning to grow your skills and capabilities to progress your career and expand our responsibilities
•    Interest to develop knowledge in the digital and innovation space
•    Written and verbal proficiency in English
•    Interest in long term career opportunities
•    Continuous Improvement mindset to develop, implement, and sustain best practices to ensure superior service delivery and accuracy
•    Good communication and effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with others and work in teams, including colleagues around the globe
•    Relevant work experience is an advantage, but not required
