Assistant Accountant role based in Chippenham £25,000 - £30,000
Client Details
Our client is a leading business with an excellent reputation in the local area. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join them on a permanent basis
Description
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for;
- Perform the monthly consolidation, including elimination journals and adjustment postings
- Preparation of Annual Report including disclosures, for external reporting of an AIM listed company.
- Preparation of statutory accounts.
- Support with external audit requests as needed.
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or the early stages of CIMA or ACCA. Experience in a similar role is essential as well as strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS etc.)
Job Offer
A salary of between £25,000 and £30,000 is on offer to the successful candidate. Additionally there will be study support towards an accountancy qualification
