Your field of responsibility

Your responsibilities which span across the Treasury Coverage and Treasury Finance teams includes: 

  • Work with existing Treasury P&L (with specific focus on Americas entities) to provide transparency to monthly actual global Treasury P&L together with:
  • Flash Forecasts/Financial Plan
  • Formal monthly Forecasts/analysis thereof
  • Run rates, drivers, under/over performance, forward view
  • Isolate areas of accounting volatility and low visibility in forecast and address
  • Assist in defining/validating framework re operating, process and control model for:
  • P&L allocation (current and future state FTP)
  • P&L planning / forecasting
  • P&L review, reporting and communication
  • Implement and enforce to latest FTP procedures and polices
  • Assist in the Audit and SOX process by documenting and maintaining evidence of review documents, and providing information as requested
  • Analyze financial information for trends and errors
  • Presentation of financial reports to senior management and business partners
  • Manage ad-hoc project works assigned
  • Participate in Treasury Americas engagement by maintaining and enhancing constructive relationships with, but not limited to
  • Regulatory and Senior management (US Legal Entity BoD, Executive Board)
  • Business CFOs/ COOs/Heads
  • Group Finance
  • All areas of Treasury (Coverage, Capital and Liquidity teams, Money Market)
  • Treasury Product Control
  • Own the process around internal governance meetings (US Legal Entity BoD, CUSO CARMAC, Branch RMC) and external interaction (monthly Fed meetings, quarterly SEC review, regulatory exams) and ensure appropriate awareness around these processes in a timely fashion
  • Interpret new local regulations and coordinate the delivery of a response on behalf of the firm
  • Create in-depth analysis and presentations for senior management discussions that assist in the development of global and regional liquidity, funding and capital planning
  • Coordinate annual CFP review process including internal governance and regulatory aspects

Your future colleagues 

As a member of Global Treasury you will be acting as guardian of the banks financial franchise and optimize the use of financial resources. As part of our Treasury team based in Raleigh you will be the part of the Americas Coverage Team, Treasury Finance team, and feed into the Global Coverage and Treasury Finance functions. With exposure to senior management you will focus on governance and oversight of US entities across Capital, Liquidity, FX, and Treasury P&L to business divisions, as well as integral involvement in critical initiative key in US entities. The role has a front facing element and the individual will work closely with key internal and external partners. Your skills and experience 

We are looking for an applicant who possess a University degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or Finance. 

  • Preferably you have 5-7 years of working experience in Treasury, Controlling, Financial Accounting or Management Consulting
  • Self-starter with ability to define own activities based on the vision and high level requirements from supervisors
  • Ability to communicate optimally at all levels!
  • Hardworking, flexible and have the ability to work independently as well as in a distributed team
  • Proficient with MS office technologies (Excel, Power Point and Word).
  • Strong interpersonal, coordination and problem solving skills
