The Finance team is responsible for the delivery of accurate financial data and analysis, as well as delivering a high quality business partnering service to the business. This role will support the Finance team through the monitoring of cost control, budgeting & forecasting, business performance reporting and assisting with sales commissions. This role critically requires having an ability to analyse, interpret and communicate financial information.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the reporting and communication on the financial performance of the business, analysing and interpreting the results, ensuring their accuracy and ensuring that the appropriate control and monitoring processes are in place
  • Assisting with co-ordinating / preparing financial plans and forecasts and provide financial input to key business decisions 
  • Support of Finance month end process including analysis of ledger and journal entries with review with the UK Accounting team
  • Management of Hyperion Forecasting tool to facilitate accurate communication of financial results and forecasts to the US Finance Team.
  • Support Cost Control and reporting to wider teams of their monthly expenses
  • Support for Cost Control as part of UK Reporting month end process
  • Assisting with the production of monthly sales commission and linking to overall business performance.
  • Assist in setting annual sales commission schemes.
  • Financial Business Partnering with key internal stakeholders and providing financial support and advice. Developing close working relationships in order to facilitate this.
  • Ad-hoc outputs where required

About You

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar finance position
  • Part-qualified Professional Accountancy qualification 
  • Strong Excel skills essential
  • Relationship building experience
  • Ability to interpret and effectively communicate financial information
  • Strong analytical competence
  • Influencing skills
  • Requirement to work flexibly occasionally
