This position is responsible for 2 key areas; the scope on Reporting, forecast & budgeting activities, and the full scope of accounts receivable function. The position reports to the Finance Manager, while working very closely with/to support the Business Analyst Manager.

Description
- Responsible to ensure on-time in-full HFM upload for financial statements and its related schedules.
- Support Business Analyst Manager in the preparation of quarterly forecast and annual budget.
- Prepare financial analysis to support business requirement.
- Support preparation of business review deck.
- Process all incoming collections, debit note and credit note and set off against invoices in customer accounts.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Investigate accounts receivable discrepancies, customer dispute and resolve billing issues.
- Review accounts receivable aging report with sales team to ensure healthy collections and overdue balances are collectible.
- Perform checking for new customer and outlet creation in system.
- Support and engage local/regional teams to implement new systems and business process improvements projects.
- Maintain and update Lease contracts and its related journal posting
- Prepare of intercompany stock reconciliation schedules
- Support marine insurance computation and its related journal posting
Profile
- Inculcates team spirit into the work environment and exudes high energy
- Does not shy away from being proactive and taking initiatives.
- Meticulous with attention to details.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking while meeting specific
- deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly working with large data volume in Excel.
- At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and applies this to day-to-day
- work.
- Knowledge in JD Edwards will be added advantage, but not compulsory.
