Management Accountant role with a PE backed business and natural progression into a Finance Manager role

I am working with a fast growing PE backed business in South Manchester who are looking to bring in a Management Accountant to their finance team. This business are a well recognised and established brand within their market. They are based within modern luxury offices and pride themselves on creating an excellent work culture.

Description

This Management Accountant role reports in to the Finance Manager an will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, supporting the FP&A team with their budgeting and forecasting process, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, prepare accruals, prepayments and posting journals. As the no.2 to the Finance Manager you take ownership of tasks and duties to ensure they are completed in a timely and accurate manner. There is also a natural progression in this role to becoming the Finance Manager.

Profile

You will be a newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant who has had exposure to producing management accounts. You will need to be driven and ambitious along with desire to progress your career. You will also need to be an excellent communicator both written and verbally. You will also need to be a strong MS Excel user.
