You’ve worked within a busy chartered accountancy firm. Working closely with clients across multiple sectors. 

You’ve worked within a fast-paced client delivery role, proven yourself to be a strong communicator, worked with stakeholders on multiple levels and had experience in both accounts review and completing full audit cycles; maybe you’re overseeing a small portfolio…but you want to take the next step in your career.

You’re looking to move into a Manager role that is delivering first-class client advice in a fast-paced environment. An accountancy firm that has grown into one of the leading independent firms of Chartered Accountants.

You’ll be joining our team based in Glasgow, on a hybrid basis, as their Audit and Accounts Manager - playing a vital part in a dynamic team.

If you can:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the full audit cycle; planning, fieldwork, and completion
  • Prepare  and review year-end statutory accounts, with an understanding of FRS 102
  • Supervise and coach a team across both audit and account functions
  • Build lasting client relationships
  • Research and identify client accountancy issues; with the ability to hold meaningful
  • conversations with clients and colleagues to the rules and regulations of doing business in the UK

And be:

  • ICAS or ACCA qualified
  • Knowledgeable of WIP and fee targets
  • Highly proficient in competing audit cycles with solid experience of preparing accounts under FRS102
  • Forward thinking with a drive for continuous improvement
  • A leader that takes pride in developing a team
  • Keen for progression
