Reporting to an Officer, the Associate 2 is responsible for the facilitation and processing of several functions aimed at ensuring proper servicing and operational execution of all custody tax responsibilities. The role requires a firm understanding of tax complexities, State Street systems, as well as a significant emphasis on risk mitigation and talent development.

What you will be responsible for

As a Tax Operations, Associate 2 you will

  • Perform daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Perform and/or monitor quality and internal controls for all team processes
  • Solicit, prepare, validate, process and submit relief at source tax documents effectively and timely on a daily basis
  • Administer updates to tax tables and omnis as needed
  • Identify issues and problems in service delivery and carry out necessary corrective action

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in custody tax environment.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem resolution skills
