Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant

As the AP Accountant, you will be leading the team to perform daily operations in the Accounts Payable function and ensure timely closing of accounts during month-end.

Description

• Provide leadership and guidance to team members
• Responsible for all key aspects of AP function, including inventory accounting
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of payment transactions
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers relating to invoices for payment
• Manage month end and year end AP closing
• Review reconciliations, reports, schedules and Statement of Accounts
• Ensure timely tax submission - GST/Withholding tax
• Review processes to improve work effectiveness and efficiency
• Liaise with internal and external auditors when necessary
• Team management including staff development plans, preparation and reviewing of KPI reports

Profile

• Bachelors' degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Professional qualification such as CPA or CA license preferred
• 3 years of AP or audit experience
• Team leading experience is desired
