As a Barclays Business Analyst in the Markets Post-Trade team, you will work in a global technology team that partners with a variety of businesses and functions across Barclays Group to provide Trade Capture, Processing and Reporting solutions. As a part of the team, you will deliver reporting solutions in response to the various Regulatory reforms globally.

What you'll be doing?
• Providing support to the Lead Business Analyst, helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision and the preferred methodology of the organisation
• Generating and analyzing reporting data
• Setting the team work ethic, setting an example and acting as a benchmark
• Designing, operating and implementing all needed controls for completeness, timeliness and accuracy of reporting with an understanding of the department's control process
• Managing the day to day Trade and Transaction Reporting issues, providing management with updates and escalating where necessary
• Reviewing and enhancing processes, Operating Procedures, checklists and reports to ensure they are accurate and current
• Being responsible for various MI creation and distribution capturing trade & transaction reporting, timeliness and accuracy
• Facing off to one or many business areas/ SME's understanding high level requirements and challenging where necessary
What we're looking for:
• Ability to deliver critical and complex Group regulatory reporting requirements and meeting internal and external demands and deadlines
• Knowledge of OTC Derivatives or Cash Products or Security Financing Products - and how they work from trade capture down to Back Office
• Adept at using Microsoft Office products with some experience using other software packages relevant to BA work
• SQL query skills, excel based data analysis skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Degree level or equivalent education in a project management, scientific, computer science, engineering, mathematical, financial or IT field desirable but not essential
• Business Analysis Accreditation(s)
• Knowledge of current regulations (MiFID II, SFTR, EMIR) and regulatory frameworks (CASS, CMA, Large Holdings)
• Experience working in Investment Bank, Compliance, Operations, or Risk and Control Function, knowledge of the front to back process of investment banking and trade lifecycle
