Accounts Senior

A highly regarded and growing firm of accountants based near Radstock has a key requirement for an Accounts Senior to join their team. You will undertake a hands on very varied role, as a key support to the partners/directors, with all around involvement across accounts, tax, VAT and other wide ranging service provision.

Based near Radstock this well established and reputable firm of accountants work with wide ranging growing OMBs, SMEs and limited company clients alongside sole traders, partnerships, charity and other clients around this looking to grow and partner with their accountants. There is a wide spectrum of industries with typical clients into the hundreds of thousands in turnover, with larger clients well into the £millions. The partners are very hands on with their clients offering a very partner led service, whilst also hands on with the delivery of services as well. They have a close knit team of professionals supporting them demonstrating their hands on approach and they are looking for key, right hand support to bolster this team and work closely with them.

Description

Joining their near Radstock offices as Accounts Senior you will take on delivering hands on services across year end accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax in the main with wider involvement across VAT, management accounts, overseeing bookkeeping delivery, reviewing work of juniors and assisting in their development. It offers the chance to carve a really pivotal key role and right hand support to managers and directors/partners, within a growing, highly successful firm of accountants. Study support on offer for those pursuing qualifications.

Profile

You will be any of AAT qualified, or you may ACA/ACCA qualified, or studying. Alternatively you may have developed your career through experience only. Most importantly you will have developed skills preparing year end accounts/tax etc and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients developed within an accountancy practice firm environment, as a key requirement for this role and firm. You will have developed your career to around the 'Accounts Senior' levels and be looking to join a growing, successful firm of accountants.

Job Offer

Circa £20,000 - £28,000 plus benefits, to be explored negotiable around the background and experience of the right professional
