With your decision to join Accounting Services you will become part of a motivated team working on and supporting tasks for fund accounting and client servicing.

We provide comprehensive support for internal as well as external clients including but not limited to topics like:

  • Fund accounting lifecycle from transaction processing and valuation to NAV dissemination
  • Accounting system processes including related projects
  • Regulatory and audit-related tasks
  • Collaboration and communication with our competence centers in Germany and Poland and auditors will be part of your daily work.

From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

What you will be responsible for

  • Fund transaction oversight for equities, bonds, derivatives and FX
  • Oversight and reconciliation of transaction costs and deviations to client front office system
  • Creation of interface data for automated booking processes
  • Support of daily accounting system tasks and process documentation
  • Daily NAV dissemination
  • Maintenance of fund static data in accounting system
  • Fund reporting tasks and KPI-Reporting
  • Assistance of management and team to ensure all deliverables are produced on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards
  • Assistance in the review of corporate documentation of processes, procedures and controls

What we value

  • Knowledge of fund accounting processes
  • PC literate with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and fund accounting systems
  • (Simcorp Dimension considered as an asset)
  • Very good knowledge of German (written and spoken) as per client demands
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to multitask effectively and to work independently within tight deadlines
  • A solution oriented person with an open mindset and an attitude to do better every day
  • Ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and trustfully with colleagues and business partners at all levels

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/MA degree in a related field or similar education within the banking industry
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience
