Financial Accountant (Kulim)

You will be managing all activities that are related to general ledger, cash and employee reimbursement as contributory accounting unit of general bookkeeping

Description

• Assist in month end closing and reporting such as closing, reconciliations and group reporting
• Reimbursement and cash management
• Prepare payment requisition in the system, and monitoring proper authorisation for all payments
• Handling vendor inquiry and correspondence independently
• Vendor Master Data Maintenance
• Continuous system monitoring (if the respective data in the used software are consistent)
• Handling fixed assets booking like setting CIP to fixed assets and running depreciation in time according to internal workflow
• Handling annual fixed assets inspection
• Handling depreciation runs

Profile

• 2-3 years of experience in/as financial accounting (MNC manufacturing background desirable)
• High proficiency in MS excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros, tables and graph production) and MS PowerPoint
• Familiar with SAP ERP, BPC, BW
• Strong project management skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in English, both written and speaking. Mandarin as a plus.
• Ability to influence and work in a support role
• Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and under high pressure
