Job Description
Our Internal Audit and Risk Consulting team is part of the wider Audit and Assurance division. It provides independent and objective assurance and consulting services to help clients strengthen and maintain the integrity of their business, systems and processes. We work across a diverse portfolio of clients including government, not-for-profit, healthcare, education, infrastructure and financial services including many large and household brands.
Our Melbourne team are close-knit, collaborative and have recently expanded! Working closely alongside the Senior Manager & Partner team, this is a client facing role where you will be supporting internal audit and consulting engagements that aim to identify risks and controls within our client's business. You will provide recommendations and solutions to your clients that address and mitigate these risks including preparing business reports, presentations and other forms of communication.

We are ideally looking for candidates with:
- 2-4 years' experience in internal audit or risk consulting. This can be either within public practice, consulting or industry.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of risk, assurance and controls, either in a general capacity or focused on a specific area.
- Membership to a professional body such as IIA Certified CAANZ, CPA, ISACA or BCI Certified or RMIA Certified will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Professional post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills and enjoy being in front of clients.
- Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building and networking skills.
- An investigative mind with the ability to logically and correctly analyse information to inform findings and conclusions.
- A commitment to continuing to develop their career in risk consulting / internal audit.
