Work you’ll do

• Assist and advise a varied portfolio of clients regarding indirect tax matters
• Liaise with officers from the Inland Revenue Board, Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Ministry of Finance and other government agencies in connection with client engagements.
• Supervise assignments of engagement team and provide mentorship to team members.
• Ensure timely delivery of reports and analysis and ongoing client engagements.
• Participate in project pursuits with Directors / Partners
• Participate in various research, training, and practice/professional development initiatives

Requirements

• Possess minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines such as Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Law
• 5 – 8 years of Indirect Tax experience preferably with an international accounting firm or a corporate
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Analytical mind and meticulous skills
• Possess good organizational skills and able to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
• Leadership and people management skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team.
