Job Responsibilities:
- Implement action plans to achieve set goals and targets.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and projects and lead teams to deliver tax services effectively. This includes corporate tax planning, tax audit and tax investigation.
- Conduct a high level review on complex computation and tax submission before submission to client.
- Train tax team members on the latest development in taxation and its issues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop Assistant Managers and Team Leaders with the skills to conduct exit meetings and tax computations with clients.
- Review all tax submission and tax correspondences drafted/prepared by staff before sign-off by Tax Director.
- Perform high level review in ensuring all tasks are performed by staff in accordance with instructions and timelines.
- Resolve all tax issues expediently to avoid work disruption.
- Manage the performance of team through regular communication, feedback, performance review and coaching.
- Conduct monthly performance meetings with the managers of tax branches as well as to resolve issues raised.
- Ensure tax fee is paid upon tax submission.
- Evaluate ways to improve the workflow and efficiency of the tax department.
- Hold a degree in accounts and finance with major in Taxation and/or professional qualification like ACCA or its equivalent.
- Have at least 4-5 years of tax experience with at least 1 years in a managerial role.
- Strong tax knowledge and experience

- Ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationship at all levels.
