Senior Accountant (Consumer Electronics)

Our client is a well established MNC in the consumer electronics industry and they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join them.

About the job

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the monthly financial closing and preparation of monthly financial packages for the APAC region and ensure the financial statements are in full compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP. You will also prepare reconciliation of local financial statements to US GAAP and manage and liaise with external vendors, tax agents and auditors. The ideal candidate is one who is technically strong in GL and reporting. We are also looking for someone who is pleasant, team player and is highly resilient given that the company is in the midst of process improvement projects.

Skills and experience required

A recognised degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent with accounting qualifications being advantageous with 8 years of relevant experience. Oracle system and advanced excel experience is advantageous.
