Business Analyst (1 Year Contract)

The KPMG Digital Transformation team assists organisations in the development of digital products, solutions and services, including digital strategy and enterprise architecture, digital target operating model, digital labour, digital technologies and solution. Our goal is to assist clients to understand technology trends and changes, and make the right technology choices to develop a business advantage.

The successful candidate will:

• Gather and document business requirements/user stories with business users, translate them into functional requirement documents for development.
• Analyse complex problems to share and create innovative solutions to solve client's problems
• Work closely with Tech Leads and Developers to ensure that the implemented solution meet client's requirements
• Design, document and execute test cases based on business requirements
• Train and communicate to end users as part of product delivery
• Support post go live activities and continuous enhancement of existing products
• Assist with any other ad-hoc duties assigned

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree/Diploma in Business, IT or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT business analyst role in software implementation projects, having contributed in different project phases such as requirement gathering, impact analysis, implementation
• Adept at flowcharting and prototyping during requirement analysis
• Self-starter, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Strong communication, presentation and documentation skills
• Meticulous, strong analytical ability, able to understand and de-complicate business requirement and propose improvements to project stakeholder
• Experience in assisting testing activities such as functional testing, user acceptance testing, with basic SQL skills
• Experience in Agile delivery projects will be an advantage
• Relevant certification in Scrum and Agile is not required but an advantage
• Technical knowledge and ability to understand technical specifications will be an advantage
