A market-leading business based in Manchester City Centre are looking to recruit a diligent and skilled Transactional Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance function on a permanent basis. The role lies within an exciting new division which is proving to be extremely successful.
As the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Transactional Finance department as well as providing support for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking/Treasury and Finance Administration

As the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Transactional Finance department as well as providing support for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking/Treasury and Finance Administration
Key responsibilities
- Accounts receivable - raising invoices and reviewing payment status of each invoice. Contacting customers or raising with internal management as appropriate to ensure assets are paid
- Accounts Payable - Processing of supplier invoices and obtaining authorisations. Paying suppliers to agreed credit and payment terms.
- Banking and treasury - ensure all bank accounts are regularly reconciled and receipts/payments are allocated
- Supervision of junior members in the team and support improvement and development
- Weekly maintenance of UK and foreign bank accounts
- Reconciliation of company credit cards and investigate/resolution of any queries
- To work closely with the various Sports business teams and assist with queries
- Support improvement work streams and continuously strive to improve own operating standards
- Ad-hoc projects and improvements to business processes
- Assist on the wider month-end close process
Key Skills required:
- Have previous accounts experience including AP/AR and banking functions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good knowledge of MS excel and finance systems
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and to tight month-end deadlines
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Logical and methodical thinker
