Senior Accountant (e-commerce)

Our client is a e-commerce start-up that is rapidly scaling across APAC and they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join them. This is a newly created role due to business expansion.

About the job

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for start to end of monthly financial close and reporting for selected APAC region entities. You will also be assisting in developing processes and procedures to ensure all general ledger activity is maintained in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In addition you will be involved in adhoc projects such as setting up new accounting systems. The ideal candidate is one who is proactive with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fluid and unstructured environment.

Skills and experience required

A recognised degree in accounting or relevant with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Big4 audit experience is a must have as we require someone strong to look into processes and controls.
