My Client, an extremely successful clue-chip organisation based in South Manchester, are looking to recruit a driven and experienced Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis to add to their vibrant finance function. The business has expanded rapidly over the last few years and are aiming to bring in a dynamic Assistant Accountant to assist with key month-end duties and reporting.
As the Assistant Management Accountant, you would be part of the Management Accounts function and your role would be to support the wider team with producing the management accountant as well as delivering key financial reports and information to ensure the smooth running of the business

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you would be part of the Management Accounts function and your role would be to support the wider team with producing the management accountant as well as delivering key financial reports and information to ensure the smooth running of the business
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Monthly cost of sales reporting
- Journal posting
- Preparation of Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliation
- Posting and reconciling bank transactions
- Prepayments & Accruals
- Dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Variance analysis and preparation of management information
- Management and efficient resolution of some queries from external and internal parties
- Ad-Hoc reporting and financial duties
Key skills/experience required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience completing month-end accounting
- ACCA/CIMA PQ or AAT Qual as a minimum
- Excellent MS Excel Skills
- Strong analytical & communication skills
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- Fantastic organisational skills
- Driven and motivated with a good work ethic
