About the role

This Senior Systems Business Analyst will support our Enterprise Systems applications- Finance systems, Human Resources, Reconciliation, Banking, Taxation, Commissions, Treasury and Legal applications. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have exposure to either PeopleSoft, or Microsoft Applications.Due to an increased workload of the current team in both upgrade and separation projects, this is an initial twelve month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to identify and document direction, functional and technical requirements
  • Work closely with business users to document functional requirements and user acceptance test plans as required
  • Create estimations, proposals and project plans for new system implementations, enhancements and maintenance projects
  • Provide business process and application functional advice drawing upon their expertise and experience and design & develop solutions that meet current and future needs
  • Contribute to the overall simplification of applications.


Capabilities & Experience
  • Strong experience and background in implementing and supporting enterprise applications, and other large custom-built applications in at least some of the following areas - Finance systems, Human Resources, Reconciliation, Banking, Taxation, Commissions, Treasury and Legal applications
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
  • A blend of functional, technical, and business knowledge, demonstrating experience in working on a diverse range of applications and technologies
  • A passion for technology, excellent communication skills and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Tertiary qualifications with extensive IT experience, Financial services experience would be beneficial
  • Deep understanding of ITIL practices and principles
