Your field of responsibility
  • The chance to take over a meaningful position within the Central Control Unit SBIP & IWM International Locations (CCU SBIP & IWM IL) team of Compliance Operations, located in Zurich.
  • In this role you have the opportunity to support the Head of CCU SBIP & IWM IL in the governance and execution of the department’s activities and to drive and manage projects, initiatives and tasks as well as act as a sparring partner for the Head of CCU SBIP & IWM IL.
  • You will represent the CCU SBIP & IWM IL function in various cross-functional activities and provide management support to the Head of CCU SBIP & IWM IL (incl. preparation & ownership of reportings, preparation of management presentations, analysis and structuring of demands, preparation and provision of management information). Additionally you will interact intensively with numerous partners within and outside Compliance Operations as well as the Management and develop a strong network across the bank.
  • You will be responsible for a broad variety of tasks with the opportunity to learn new things and to develop an understanding across a wide range of topics.

Your skills and experience

  • Bank apprenticeship or a college/university degree in an area related to Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration or an equivalent education
  • 6–9 years of working experience in Compliance, Audit, Business Risk Management or within a Private Banking front unit within the financial industry
  • Dedicated interest towards Compliance and Risk topics
  • Very good and efficient communication skills to collaborate effectively and to build up professional relationships
  • We are looking for a dedicated problem solver who likes to balance multiple challenging priorities and assignments and who shows a high level of flexibility (experience in change environments is a plus)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are a requirement 
  • Strong analytical skills as well as joined-up thinking is a plus
