Senior Credit Analyst PT SCT

This is a position to provide Credit Management support for the commercial Shell Catalyst & Technologies (SC&T) business – which is part of the Projects & Technology (P&T) organisation based in FO KL and report to Credit Lead PT SCT. 

The aim of this position is to take on the credit assessment responsibilities for AMERICAS & APAC, with a specific focus on China given the importance of that market.

The purpose of this role is to streamline the credit risk assessment process and to take on full accountability for large and complex assessments. Important elements in the role will be:

• Business Impact: Able to perform value adding credit assessments for the SC&T business that provide clear insights into risks (credit exposure) and rewards (business margin) and have a direct impact on decisions being taken to achieve business targets and growth.
• Continuous Improvements: Driving standardised and fit for purpose credit assessments as a senior credit analyst in the team, while supporting other credit analysts in the team and wider organisation. To support initiatives that form part of the P&T Credit Integrated Process Plans (IPP).
• Operational Discipline: Delivery against credit metrics (e.g. timely credit assessments and re-assessments) whilst having a robust control framework in place. Ensure compliance with credit policies and standards and business controls.
