Investment Accounting Manager / Senior Manager

The Company

My client is a fast growth Insurance Company and they are looking for great talent to join their team. This role can gain diverse exposure and work closely with the business

The Role

• Perform daily settlement operation in securities, derivatives, and private equity
• Co-ordination with internal and external fund managers and custodian bank for all investment operation and accounting related aspects
• Engage in Finance Project as the business users, e.g. IFRS17, IFRS 9
• Implement the Group policies and control framework
• Monitor the finance and accounting systems, policies and procedures to ensure its processes and systems are operating in the most efficient and effective manners. Propose changes as needed.
• Handle related closing activities including ECL calculation to support the month end closing
• Prepare and Manage month-end financial closing, timely and accurate submission of local and Group reporting to senior management, Group Office and regulators
• Support and prepare investment-related reporting for stakeholders
• Coach and develop the staff members and Juniors

Your Profile

• University graduate
• Years relevant experience
• Knowledge in investment and settlement market and HKFRS
• Sound knowledge on reporting requirements for an insurance investment accounting is preferred
• Understanding of local insurance regulatory environment is an advantage
• Experience with SAP system is an advantage
