My client is looking to hire a part time Financial Controller for a 3 month period. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the Events and entertainment industry and must be qualified.

My client is looking to hire a part time Financial Controller for a 3 month period. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the Events and entertainment industry and must be qualified.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UK finance function and support CFO
- Lead the preparation of the budget and financial forecasting process
- Manage month end close process
- Prepare the monthly payroll
- Responsible for IFRS monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to corporate finance
- Lead on the Group's tax matters including VAT
- Manage the annual year end audit and prepare statutory accounts
- Supervise and manage financial department staff and processes
Essential
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with minimum 3+ years of post-qualified experience
- Proficient with IFRS & FRS 102 reporting standards
- Previous experience within an event management business will be highly regarded
- Highly organised and able to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
