Reed Accountancy currently have a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Theale. Working in a team of 4 and reporting into the Financial Director, this role will be working as a senior member of the team and supporting the accounts assistant when needed as well as working closely with the FD.

Knowledge of Excel and experience of working as a Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant within an SME environment would be beneficial, however not essential.

Duties for this role will include
  • Collect and provide company payroll information to the outsourced payroll provider and be able to reconcile payroll and PAYE
  • Manage VAT returns for the company
  • Review and Manage cash flow forecast and provide the action plan
  • Manage accruals, prepayments and fixed assets; ensuring accounts are fully reconciled and all relevant transactions are captured and accounted for
  • Support FC with forecasting and budget setting
  • Prepare monthly management account and reconciliations
  • Ensure financial controls operate in line with policy and procedure

This position would be best suited to a candidate who is either AAT Qualified, or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified as well as having clear and demonstrable experience at a Management Accountant level.

The office offers free onsite parking as well as close to the local train station and bus routes.
