Our professionals can deliver objective, value added solutions that will enable clients to strengthen internal controls and governance processes, implement sound organisational strategies, increase technological capabilities and improve their operational efficiency. .

A look into the role

As a Business Risk Services Internal Audit Insurance Associate Director you will:
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of existing client relationships and maintain good working relationships.
  • You'll ensure assignments are appropriately scheduled, resourced and ensure teams reference and the audit planning documents are agreed by the client, prior to review commencing.
  • You'll review work programme to ensure alignment to terms of reference
  • You'll review all working papers/RACE and provide feedback and coaching to team managers based on review of work carried out.
  • You'll design and undertake high quality analytical work requiring minimal input from Directors and Partners.
  • You'll lead on proposals and participate in presentation and in delivering unfamiliar information to clients in a confident manner.


Knowing you're right for us

Joining us as a Business Risk Services Internal Audit Insurance Associate Director the minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post qualification experience, and to be confident managing a large portfolio of clients. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.

  • Experience of managing audits of (large companies) in addition to dealing with complex technical matters
  • Well organised, structured approach to internal audit delivery
  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
  • Experience of delivering SOX and Internal Controls Assurance projects.
  • Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies (for corporate audit only) would be beneficial
  • Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
