Junior Accountant - Cork

About the role

You’ll be an important part of a team that’s responsible for of a portfolio of clients. It will see you take an active part in the initial set-up of new funds, working with independent tax specialists, lawyers and notaries as part of that process. You’ll take care of day-to-day operations of the funds and follow up with all third parties. And you’ll also help prepare Know Your Customer and Client Due Diligence files.

From the preparation of Net Asset Value calculations to year-end statements, drawdown notices to arranging investor servicing and onboarding, you’ll make a crucial contribution across the board. We’ll look to you to be proactive throughout.

About you

Organised and flexible, you’ll be able to work as a team and independently. Deadlines don’t faze you, and you’ll have real energy, commitment and ambition.

Your strong academic background will ideally include a degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or Economics. Beyond this, you’ll have up to 2 years’ relevant experience and be working towards ACCA/CIMA or ACA qualification. Knowledge of real estate or private fund equity administration would be a bonus.
