This is a finacial accountingrole with responsibility for providing the administrative support needed to secure successful property lettings and sales, working with the Head of Finance. In all cases, you will be required to understand and comply with contractual, statutory and legal restrictions, and client confidentiality.

The work is varied, and typical roles will include:
  • Responsible for undertaking general administrative tasks under the guidance of the Head of Finance
  • The job role will include administrative duties and financial support
  • Assist in the delivery of financial management functions and receive direction from the Head of Finance
  • Assist in maintaining financial administrative systems, and keeping adequate, complete and assessable records in the improvement of financial procedures
  • Provide financial administrative support to the organisation
  • Undertake general admin tasks including telephone messages, correspondence, enquiries and filing
  • Taking phone messages and passing them on
  • Following up on business communications
  • Filing/file management
  • Preparing routine documentation
  • Completing data entry duties
  • Check, process, and record payments, administer invoices and expenses claims received and action payments
  • Raising client invoices
  • Preparing spreadsheets, reports and other data as required
  • Provide data and process payments as agreed
  • Maintain correct records
  • Filing of all relevant paperwork
  • Completing general office, ad-hoc duties when required
  • Dealing with day to day client enquiries and processing payments
  • Entering and logging rent collection and payment data on the accounting system
  • Accurately maintain client files, database and operating systems
  • Deal with payroll queries from staff and contractors in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure all starters and leavers, benefits and allowances are entered on to the payroll database in a timely manor
  • Calculations of statutory payments
  • Processing P45 received and sent out
  • Producing P60 and other yearend reports
  • Filing and documenting reports used within the department
  • Reviewing and analysing data from reports
  • Ensure that weekly reports are produced correctly
