Client Details
My client is an English regulatory body that work in a niche sector.
They work with a large amount of other bodies across the UK and provide insightful data and information to the UK Government.
Description
Sitting within the FP+A team and reporting to the Head of FP&A, the Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role within the success of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking analysis on financial data collected from all bodies in this niche sector and reporting findings and conclusions.
- Providing professional finance advice to continually improve the organisations approach to assessing financial sustainability and risk across the sector;
- Maintaining an awareness of the financial environment facing the whole sector; and contributing to strategic projects.
- Maintaining effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that there is consistency in understanding organisations approach to monitoring, intervention and regulation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified/QBE Accountant with high level analytical skills, report writing skills and interpersonal skills.
Profile
The key person attributes to fulfil this role are;
- Ideally a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) or a QBE with high levels of analystical skills
- You will be advanced level on excel.
- Able to work with large data sets and spreadsheets, manipulate the data into insightful reports
- Good report writing skills.
- Great interpersonal skills
Job Offer
A 12m FTC
Salary up to £51,000
37 hours a wee on flexible working
Home based until January 2022 then 40% office based/Hybrid
Civil Service pension paying 26.6% if you contribute 4.6%
33 days annual leave including bank holidays
