This is a managerial role in the finance team for a global firm in the shipping industry. This role reports to the Financial Controller and overseas the finance functions such as Cash Management, Reporting, Tax, AP, AR, GL, Banking, Budgeting and Consolidations.
Client Details
Locally headquartered global shipping MNC with a large finance team, with about 60 pax.
Description
- Responsible for overseeing various finance functions
- Responsible for presentations done to the Temasek board
- Review and streamline finance operations
- Guide and develop the accounting team
Profile
- Someone with experience dealing with the shipping industry would be ideal
- Someone who has about 10 years of relevant experience
- Someone who is well communicated, and has good presentation skills
- Someone with good exemplary leadership qualities
- Someone with the ability to work well in fast paced environments with demanding time-lines
