This is a great opportunity to join an exciting business and work closely not only with finance but with the operations teams with business partnering, analysis and general financial support.  This position will be working with Regional General Managers and will be required to undertake UK travel for a few days per month. This position would suit someone that is either currently working as Finance Business Partner who is looking to fulfil their first role in a business facing finance position.

Finance Business Partner - About the Role

You will be reporting into a Regional Financial Controller working within the reporting and financial control team, you will be responsible for a specific region working very closely with Regional Operational Directors and Regional General Manager.  Working with the operations team to provide high quality and transparent analysis and reporting, which will aid the region to monitor the financial performance, drive improvements and support with business to make robust business decisions. 

As the Finance Business Partner, you will:

Provide monthly analysis on financial performance of each site within the region, including review / challenge revenue, P & L, KPI’s, business improvement plans variance analysis on budget and YoY performance

  • Provide commentary on weekly performance reports to your designated region
  • Attend and participate regional on-site meetings with GM’s Regional Directors and members of the SMT
  • Provide revenue movement reports, highlighting risk and opportunities within the business planning, looking at sensitivity analysis

The successful Finance Business Partner will have:

Excellent financial and analytical skills accompanied with business modelling (advanced Excel) and presentation skills (PowerPoint). Very strong communication skills with the ability to tactfully influence senior managers and Directors, gravitas to challenge and offer an objective view. You will possess strong commercial awareness. You will have a proven track record. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), or near to becoming qualified. The role does involve UK travel on a monthly basis.
