Description
Reporting into the Head of Finance Partnering and Performance, and supporting the Asset Management Directorate, you will use your knowledge of finance, repairs and maintenance to provide professional financial expertise, insight, support and analysis, to enable delivery of our asset management and maintenance programmes and ultimately our business plan. You'll also develop the use of finance systems to deliver an efficient and effective service to internal and external customers
You will need to have experience of supporting Asset Management/repairs and maintenance teams, working with senior stakeholders and be able to provide high quality financial reporting and analysis. You'll also be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Proven experience of working in a business facing or partnering finance role in a complex organisation.
- Proven experience of preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and internal financial reports.
- Experience of reviewing and analysing financial information and reporting on results.
- Excellent attention to detail with an ability to understand wider picture, prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to link financial performance and management information.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to challenge, engage, influence, and add value at all levels.
- Excellent oral and written communications and the ability to present effectively to varying levels in an organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Experience of using financial systems to a high level, ideally Oracle or an equivalent.
Essential Qualifications:
- CCAB or CIMA qualified
Profile
The successful candidate will have extensive experience partnering with an Asset Directorate and have partnere with the Repairs and Maintenance function.
