Responsibilities:
- Monthly payroll and benefits calculation, payment process and reconciliation for regional offices.
- Coordinate and work closely with payroll vendors, HR and Group Finance team to ensure smooth payroll processing and payment for both international & local payments
- Coordinate and work closely with payroll vendors, HR and Group Finance team to assist with share-based payments and tax reporting as and when required
- Payment and execution of carry interest, dividend and related statements working closely with Finance
- Prepare Hong Kong Tax Filing and other tax admin related to regional offices
- Prepare budget working closely with Finance
- Coordinate and work closely with payroll vendors, HR and Group Finance team to ensure accurate, complete and consistent record keeping between HR and Finance
- Research and interpret local regulatory requirements for employer tax compliance and implication
- Respond to enquiries from employees, local regulators / tax authorities, tax advisors / tax agents, auditors and vendors on payroll related issues
- Prepare headcount analysis, budget analysis
- Calculation of final settlement for leavers
- Maintain accuracy of employee data on HR systems and spreadsheets.
- Prepare staff costs allocations working closely with Finance teams
- Assist with working visa application
- Provide information for internal and external audit request and coordinate with Finance during audit process
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines
- Min 10 years' relevant experience with regional payroll exposure; payroll experience in Singapore, Australia, US, Korea, UK, India, Japan, would be highly advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Independent self-starter, detail-oriented team player
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Be proactive and willing to take initiatives.
